There are a few clothing meccas I’m dying to visit but haven’t made it to yet; Colette in Paris, Maxfield in LA (I know, no excuse on that one), and any Isabel Marant boutique. Honestly though, the topper on my list right now is William Vintage in London. Have you seriously ever seen a more beautifully curated (and color coded!) store? Located on Marylebone in central London, William Vintage was founded by William Banks-Blaney, dubbed the “the vintage king” by Vogue, for his amazing knack of scouring the globe for one of a kind vintage pieces.
I’d just love to frolic in this two floor store for a couple of hours and try on all of the amazing clothes. That’s right, frolic. Considering the store runs by appointment only, I’m sure no one would mind at all (ha!). The red, white, and black rack has my name alllll over it.
I’m so in love with this Madame Gres shirt. How awesome would that shirt look with some black skinny jeans?
William Vintage’s collection is also no stranger to the British red carpets. In fact, I think he may have single handedly dressed the BAFTA red carpet a few weeks ago…

This white dress is one of my favorite William Vintage pieces I’ve seen thus far. Such a beautiful dress; so simple, so chic. And there’s pockets! Have I mentioned I’m a sucker for a dress with pockets?
Gillian Anderson has become something of a muse for William Vintage, often wearing his collection to red carpet events. This dress above from the 2012 BAFTAs is just breathtakingly stunning to me.
Here’s a few more William Vintage pieces I’d like to frolic in…
