It’s Monday again, which means it’s “always within the never” time. Here’s what kept me smiling this past week…
1. Always…hitting up the sales at Macy’s. I’ve gotten some seriously good steals over the past few years. (A Free People dress for $11? Why yes, I think I will!) Loved this pant and shirt combo I tried on. Sadly neither came home with me because the shirt wasn’t on sale and the pants weren’t marked down enough. Next time!
2. Within…the seriously yummy takeout I ate on Saturday night. A Gluten free/Vegan cheese Arugula Salad Pizza and half a BBQ Chicken Salad…and some amazingness from the most picturesque gluten free bakery around, Babycakes. I consumed all this while watching Practical Magic on Netflix. It was a wild Saturday night here in LA.
3. The…hike/epic journey I took with some lovely friends to a place called The Wisdom Tree. It was long and steep but totally worth it. I’ll never get tired of the amazing views from the hills.
4. Never…leaving the house in the morning without French pressed coffee in my butterfly Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf mug. The cup was a highly successful impulse purchase from The Grove Coffee Bean. I’m a coffee snob; organic fair trade tastes so much better than regular coffee and Kobrick’s is my favorite.
