A Challenge

I’ve been given a challenge! Or…an award. Or, both. Okay, I’m not really sure what it is. But the lovely Aine Carlin of Pea Soup Eats has tagged me and there’s a questionnaire. And I’ll be honest, I love a good questionnaire. There were actually a few different parts of this challenge and I’ve shortened it just a bit.

Here’s the questionnaire and then seven random things about myself….

1. What’s your greatest achievement?

I can’t come up with a good one so I’m just going to go with the day I found a Free People dress (above) I had been dying for in my size on sale at Macy’s for $11.

2. Best gig you’ve ever been to?

I once got paid to eat a giant buffet of food complete with a cheesecake/coffee bar while playing Rockband at a restaurant in the middle of Manhattan. Does that count?

3. Favourite Holiday spot?

Hm. I really love Chicago on the 4th of July. And the lights on Michigan Ave at Christmas time.

4. Divulge one of your greatest fashion/beauty tips.

Seriously, hold on to your Macy’s coupons and I swear by my Shu Uemura eyelash curler.

5. Which cartoon did you like most as a child?

JEM! And Duck Tales.

6. If you could only eat one food what would it be?

Right now it’d be avocados.

7. What is your main hope for the future?

To have the chance to travel to different countries and experience other cultures as much as possible.

8. Are you religious?

If Pema Chodron audio books count, then yes.

9. Heels or flats?

Miu Miu Heels!

10. Best city you ever visited?

That I’ve actually visited…Amsterdam. But I have high hopes for London.

11. What is your favourite era?

I love the relaxed hippie fashion of the 1970′s.

Seven Random Things….1) I own a lot of coffee mugs 2) My favorite pair of pants are blue sweatpants I got for .99 cents at Value Village in Aurora, Illinois 3) I’m on a big smoothie kick right now 4) I love dogs 5) All Whole Foods make me happy but especially the one in New York in Columbus Circle 5) I love to go on hikes 6) I once passed Anna Wintour on a set of stairs and all I could think in my head was “Anna Wintour! Anna Wintour! Anna Wintour!” and I may have said that out loud and she may have heard me 7) I’m a night owl
