YSL Arty Gold Plated Ring – $290

Oasap Golden Tone Oversized Ring – $21

As a huge fan of chunky rings, I have long worshipped loved the look of the YSL Gold Plated Arty ring.  Sadly, I don’t love the almost $300 price tag. Well, Oasap now makes an alternative which is much easier on the pocketbook. Sure it’s total costume jewelry and may fall apart, chip off or break after some wear and tear. But, at $21, it’s a fun alternative while it lasts! And at that price, perhaps you should consider stacking up on a few in different colors.

Here’s a few images of the YSL ring in all its glory…

Earrings

IMG_8509

I’ve always loved the detail a pair of earrings can add to an outfit. I often find myself wearing big earrings because they add a fun, whimsical element to whatever I put together. But sometimes smaller studs and more delicate pieces are also a fantastic, understated accessory to top off a look. For some delicate earring options, check out this selection from FreshTrends. Below are some pics of my own earrings as well as some earring looks I wish were mine!

Christmas Tree Love

IMG_8144

During the holiday season, there is little which excites me more than buying and decorating my Christmas tree. While I typically tend to stay away from an overabundance of glitter and sparkles in my fashion choices, I don’t hesitate to pile it on to my Christmas decorations. Often, my decorations spread glitter all over my floor. But, as far as I’m concerned that just makes it more festive! Christmas trees will always be magical for me and I’ll let you in on a little secret: the quickest way to my heart is lots and lots of twinkle lights.

I’ve spent a few years amassing my ornament collection which is comprised of many sparkly butterflies, some DIY gold balls which I hand tied little pieces of ribbon on and silver West Elm leaves with book pages on them . My absolute favorite ornaments though are my gold butterflies which are positioned all around the tree.

Style Steal

{photo: Olsens Anonymous}

I always love unique jewelry choices which set an outfit apart.  I really love this necklace combination Elizabeth Olsen chose for a film luncheon a few months ago. Pairing the necklace with a plain white shirt and coral mini skirt really made the pieces stand out and definitely punched up her otherwise simple outfit. Want to steal this style like I do? Here’s a few necklaces you can pair with your silk white button up. For shirt options, check out these great choices from Cushnie et Ohs, Guess, MH Jeans and Equipment.

It’s Always Time for Rings

It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of rings. It’s also no secret  I have a horrible habit of taking them off and twisting them between my fingers and dropping them. But really, there’s nothing I love more than layering those bad boys on every finger I possibly can. Even with my (admittedly) somewhat large ring collection, I’m always on the hunt for more to add. Rings are pretty much like shoes and purses; you can never have enough and you have to keep changing them up every once in a while to make life interesting. I keep fawning over rings on Freshtrends which are incredibly tempting because they’re awesomely affordable. Much like women wearing men’s watches, I love the idea of wearing a slightly heavier men’s ring.

Here’s some more rings I’m currently fawning over…

1. YSL Arty Gold Plated Glass Ring - $290

2. Madewell Arrow Ring – $18.00

3. All Saints Lava Ring – $40.00

4. Chan Luu Rangoli Armor Ring – $228.00

5. All Saints Encrypt Ring – $110.00

6. Asos Wrapped Claw Ring – $20.87

7. Asos Wrapped Coil Ring – $10.44

8. All Saints Stitch Ring – $30.00

9. All Saints Jaldhara Ring – $155.00

10. Todd Lynn for Asos Lion Snake Ring – $83.50

11. All Saints Tresori Cocktail Ring – $55.00
